Are Autonomous And Self-Directed
They may be skeptical about new information, and may test or review it before acceptance.
Goals: Offer a variety of learning activities that promote acceptance and engagement.
Have Accumulated A Foundation Of Life Experiences
New information is compared or integrated with past problems or goals.
Goals: Integrate new and existing theories and concepts. Review problem solvers and successes.
Are Relevancy Oriented
Learning should feel self-directed and individually driven. They seek solutions to their perceived needs.
Goals: Identify individual learning styles. Match needs with activities. Measure outcomes.
